How to Attend the Summit

The 2025 Healthy Aging Alberta Summit will be hosted at the Delta Hotels Edmonton South Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, at 4404 Gateway Blvd NW. The Summit will also be hosted in a hybrid format, and registrants will be able to join online from the comfort of their own homes or offices.

Yes. You’ll need to complete the registration form and complete payment to attend the Summit.

Please note that the Gala Dinner is ticketed separately to allow travel partner and special guest attendance.

Yes, there is accommodation on-site at the Delta Hotels Edmonton South Conference Centre. Please check the Travel and Accommodation pages for more information on how to book and get here.
For attendees who have financial limitations, we offer travel subsidies. This funding will be available by application on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited in quantity. Learn more and apply.
Cancellation & Delegate Pass Transfer Policy
No refunds will be issued for cancellations. Delegates can transfer their Conference Pass between participants from the same organization. Substitution requests must be made to Healthy Aging Alberta Summit by email (summit@healthyagingalberta.ca) and received before Friday, September 22, 2025.
The Summit is hosted by Healthy Aging Alberta (powered by the United Way of Calgary and Area) and in partnership with the Alberta Elder Abuse Awareness Council and the Alberta Association on Gerontology. The information you provide upon registration will be used to check you in at the conference in person and establish you as a user on the virtual platform to create your login credentials.

Your registration information (name, location, organization) will also be used for reporting purposes. Personal registration information will not be used by or shared with other parties. It will be kept confidential in accordance with the Canadian Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act.

Images, video, comments, engagement feedback, and evaluation feedback captured at the Summit will be used for qualitative and quantitative storytelling to partners and stakeholders on social media, and through other storytelling platforms and mediums.

About the Event Format

Conference registrations are available for both in-person and online attendees. Sponsors and Exhibitors will have both in-person and digital booths for engagement and interaction. The online engagement hub is easy to navigate and allows you to find sessions, digital networking opportunities, and chances to connect with others in the sector. We will also have specified online engagement activities for conference attendees. Learn more about the virtual experience.
Online sessions will be broadcast live from the in-person speakers. We will have virtual room moderators to support online discussions, table breakouts, and other engagement activities so that online attendees can have an engaging and rewarding experience.
All attendees will have access to the recorded sessions in the virtual platform for 90 days following the event. Some speaker sessions may only be available for a limited time following the conference, so make sure to watch your sessions ASAP. We will note under the session descriptions which speakers and session recordings and when they will be removed from the event platform.
We will have breaks and activities to network and mingle with other attendees. Both in-person and virtual attendees will have options to network at this time. Also, we will have an evening reception and evening Gala Dinner, both with opportunities to mix and mingle with others.
We do not have credits for this event. However, upon request, we can provide a Certificate of Attendance after the event. Please email summit@healthyagingalberta.ca for more information.
